Philter Ltd are OFTEC registered oil installers. We deal with all oil related issues from servicing your domestic boiler or range cooker, right through to the installation of a new oil storage tank. We are able to self-certify our work for building regulation control, and, as licensed waste carriers we can remove and dispose of your existing oil storage tank in a responsible manner.

We can service either pressure jet or vaporising burners to get your appliance running as it should. Poorly or non serviced appliances are both un-economical and potentially dangerous. Suggested service intervals are 12 months for a pressure jet and 6-12 months for a vaporising appliance.

We also install new boilers, condensing ones, which are around 95% efficient, call for details.

We're getting alot of interest in the pressure jet conversion. There's also a waiting list beginning to develope for the Snugburner due to high demand and higher fuel prices.

Remember the days when kerosene was 12p per litre and the Aga cost less than £8 per week to run? It was good value then, because its heat meant the central heating was hardly used and the cooker was always ready even if there was no-one home to cook.

Those days are long gone.

At 60p per litre the same Aga now costs over £39 per week to run and the price of oil is only going up. Sorry Gordon, but your best efforts are having no real effect.
