Boiler Pictures.

Below are some images of boilers' (insides, pumps etc.) We've only taken them so that you can see what state your boiler could be in, and why it should be serviced annually by an oil specialist.

The pictures to the right are of a fuel pump which has had something other than oil go through it. Water probably. The boiler was drawing fuel from a tank where the top had rotted away, we changed the tank, but the damage to the pump had already been done. Note the rust spots under the cover of the pump and the discolouration of the filter which is housed under the cover. Inspection is part of a service by Philter Ltd.

The two images on the left are the result of a badly tuned boiler. The baffle plates in the boiler have bent and twisted due to the poor tuning of the air/fuel mixture. The images on the right are of the inside of a boiler which was not cleaned out correctly at servicing. Again, tuning of the boiler and cleaning are all part of a service by Philter Ltd.
