At Philter Ltd, we believe we can offer the complete Oil Tank Replacement and Oil Fired Boiler service. If your current tank is smelling of oil, then its probably leaking! Whether it be made of steel or plastic, we can help.

We source tanks from a range of manufacturers at the most competitive price available to us on the day. We try to only deal with manufacturers who have been in business for over ten years and who offer a ten year warranty with their proiduct.

Our complete tank replacement service includes a site survey, all base work required, oil line cleansing, tank and gauge fitting, removal and safe disposal of your existing tank, re-instatement of your oil stock and notification to your local building authority that your new installation conforms to current building regulations.

If you have a Range type cooker (Aga, Rayburn etc.), we have developed a method of tank changing without the need to turn it off. If, however you would prefer to turn it off, we can service the appliance and re-light it as part of our works. We are qualified in the servicing and commissioning of these types of appliances.

We can also deal with the more modern Pressure Jet type boilers. If your boiler requires a feed of oil usually achieved by gravity, and we need to site your new tank lower than your old one, we can fit a 'Tiger Loop' de-aerator to your system, this gives your oil pump the help it needs and pro-longs its life.
